Madadgar-15 stops man from committing suicide over kids’ unpaid fees
Madadgar-15 police on Monday rescued a man after he failed to deposit his children school fees and decided to commit suicide. The police department also paid the fees to the school management.
Officials said a man named Azhar Abbas informed Madadgar-15 that he was committing suicide due to lack of money to pay his children’s school fees. As soon as the information was received, a police team reached the spot within seven minutes and stopped the man from committing suicide.
The Madadgar-15 received a report from the Site Superhighway area, in which the caller Azhar Abbas spoke of his children’s school fee problem, saying it was the final term of his children’s papers and the school was not cooperating, and he would commit suicide. As soon as the information was received, Madadgar-15 swung into action and Constable Imran along with a team reached the spot within seven minutes and stopped the man from committing suicide.
The team and assured him of help while talking to the school administration in this regard. DSP Admin Madadgar-15 Uzma Hafeez and Constable Sharmeen Niazi made a joint effort, and with the help of NGO head Fauzia Tariq ensured payment of the school fees of the children.
