MANSEHRA: The Karakoram Highway, which was blocked following a truck loaded with goods overturned on it in the Pattan area of Lower Kohistan, was cleared to all sorts of traffic.

“Our team has cleared the artery to traffic after removing the truck and goods loaded in it,” Malik Sharif, an official of the Rescue 1122, told reporters on Saturday.

The driver of the truck which was on its way to Gilgit-Baltistan from Rawalpindi couldn’t hold control over steering while negotiating a sharp turn as a result of which it overturned at KKH and blocked it to traffic in the Matta Banda checkpost area in Pattan tehsil of the district.
