Confident Agha hopes to shine in Ireland, England
LAHORE: Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha expressed his determination on Saturday to maintain his current form during the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England.
Addressing the media in Lahore, Agha emphasized his focus on the forthcoming series, stating, “At the moment, my priority is to perform well in the series against Ireland and England. Whether I make it to the World Cup squad will ultimately depend on the selectors’ decision.”
Highlighting the importance of looking ahead, Agha emphasized the necessity of putting past performances behind, stating, “It’s crucial for players to have a forward-looking mindset, especially with consecutive cricket engagements on the horizon.”
Agha, however showed his commitment to delivering consistent performances and expressed his readiness to seize the opportunities presented in the upcoming series against formidable opponents.
“I am completely prepared for the series and aim to maintain my current good form,” Salman remarked. He further acknowledged the selectors’ role in determining his inclusion in the World Cup squad, emphasizing his dedication to performing well in the upcoming matches.
