KHAR: A woman from Samsai area in Loisam Town gave birth to four babies in a private health facility in Khar tehsil in Bajaur tribal district.
Dr Rabia Basri of the private hospital said that an expectant woman from Loisam Town was brought to their health facility for delivery.She said that the doctors tried the woman had a normal delivery but later they offered a planned caesarean, which was conducted successfully.
The doctor said the woman gave birth to four babies, including three girls and a boy. She added that the mother and all babies were in good health.The family members said that they were so happy on hearing the good news of the birth of quadruplets.
It may be mentioned that this was the woman, who had been stranded in flooding in a seasonal stream in Samsai area while being shifted to the hospital for delivery.The Rescue 1122 upon receiving information dispatched medical and rescue teams to the spot, who successfully rescued the woman and transported her to the health facility where she gave birth to quadruplets.
