Boy recovered, kidnapper held

MINGORA: The police recovered a 14-year-old boy from captivity and arrested a kidnapper here on Saturday, an official said. Deputy Superintendent of Police Saddiq Akbar said that the police raided the hujra of a kidnapper Alamzeb Khan in Mingora city and recovered Abdul Rehman. He said that he had been abducted some two months ago. He added that the accused was wanted by the police in connection with various other cases of kidnapping boys. He said the police had conducted a raid on the hujra in February last but he had managed to escape. He said the police had recovered a boy from his hujra and arrested Sajjad, a co-accused, during that action.
