KHAR: The police have launched a crackdown against the vehicles with tinted glass to prevent their possible use in terror activities by militants in Bajaur tribal district.
The police swung into action to remove tinted sheets and glasses from vehicles’ windowpanes following directives from the district police officer.
All the deputy superintendents of police and station house officers launched action in their respective circles and police stations during which tinted sheets and glasses were removed from a number of vehicles’ windows.
Meanwhile, the police have asked the vehicle owners to cooperate with the district administration by removing the sheets on their own.
