Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue listed among Time’s 100 Most Influential People
It also features prominent world leaders and U.S. political figures such as Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns and Texas Governor Greg Abbott
NEW YORK: TIME Magazine celebrated their 2024 class of the 100 most influential people on Thursday (April 25) in New York. The 2024 TIME100 list includes singer-songwriter Dua Lipa, football quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and actress Taraji P. Henson. “I’m living up to the promise I made to God that I would use my gift that he gave me to evoke change in the world. So, I’m doing something right,” said Henson.
This year’s list features 51 women, including filmmaker Sofia Coppola and singers Kylie Minogue and Fantasia Barrino. It also features prominent world leaders and U.S. political figures such as Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns and Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
The list also includes athletes like Formula One world champion Max Verstappen, basketball star A’ja Wilson, and icons from the fashion, visual, and literary arts spheres such as Jenny Holzer and Tory Burch. “If I can be a bit of a role model for women entrepreneurs, I will take that any day of the week.
Women are the best investments we could ever, ever hope to invest in. And if we do that, it will change societies and will change the economy,” said Burch.
