GUJRANWALA: Commissioner Gujranwala Division Naveed Haider Shirazi Tuesday distributed relief cheques among family members of Noshki terrorism victims.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Tayab Hafeez Cheema and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and DC Noshki Habibullah Musa Khel were also present on the occasion. Earlier, the DC Noshki reached Gujranwala with relief cheques on behalf of Balochistan government.
Talking to reporters, the DC Noshki said that Balochistan government has approved relief cheque of Rs 1 million per family. He said Noshki police have arrested four terrorists involved in the said incident while the others will also be held soon.
DC ORDERS CRACKDOWN ON VIOLATORS OF RATE LISTS OF ROTI, NAAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Tariq Qureshi launched a crackdown on violators of rate list of roti and naan.
Reportedly, the officials of the district administration conducted 2,625 raids and imposed Rs 5.8 million fine on 241 tandoor owners and booked two people and arrested 15 in this connection. Talking to reporters, the DC urged the public to identify violators of roti and naan rate list violators.
