The mother of six children was killed allegedly by her husband in an incident domestic violence in the Mehran Town area of Korangi on Saturday.
The culprit fled the scene after the crime, police said, adding that they had arrested his brother.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Korangi Industrial Area police station where 35-year-old Ayesha was killed allegedly by her husband. Her body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
Upon receiving the information, the police reached the property and took the victim's brother-in-law, Saqib, into custody from the house, while the victim's husband, Asif, fled the scene.
According to police, Ayesha was killed over a domestic dispute. She was the mother of six children and hailed from Chiniot.
No case had been registered till the filing of this news story. Police said they were searching for the husband.
