ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Inter-Provincial officials who briefed Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal on sports Monday confirmed that Tariq Bugti’s Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is a genuine body.
“Tariq Bugti was nominated by the then Prime Minister to the post of President PHF and was given a vote of confidence by Congress as such he is recognised president of the federation. Shehla Raza’s body is not genuine,” Secretary IPC Nadeem Irshad Kayani told the Minister. Ahsan Iqbal confirmed taking up the matter with the PM to avoid any future complications.
