Video of mosque robbery on Friday night circulates on social media

A video emerged on Sunday of a robbery inside a mosque in District Central of Karachi a few days ago. The incident took place at around 9:30pm on Friday, April 12, at a mosque near Karimabad in the Azizabad area. The footage that has gone viral on social media shows a dacoit wearing a shirt and pants entering the mosque.

He robbed three individuals, including the mosque’s prayer caller and servant, at gunpoint, taking cash and mobile phones from their pockets and confidently fled the scene after instructing them to go upstairs. Police said they are investigating the case.
