Iftar, Easter dinner
LAHORE: A Muslim-Christian Iftar and Easter dinner was organised to improve the atmosphere of religious harmony in the Christian population of Jaranwala, in which a group of Muslim and Christian people participated. A large number of people participated in the ceremony, including Ali Abbas Zaidi, head of social organisation Hive Pakistan from Islamabad, Zahid Rafiq Bhatti, president of Punjab Union of Journalists from Lahore, Hasnain Tirmizi general secretary, Maulana Asim Makhdoom, president of Kul Masalik Ulema Board, National Peace Committee were present.
In addition to President Maulana Syed Mehmood Ghaznavi, Finance Secretary of PUJ Khawar Baig, Senator Jamshed Bukhari, Assistant Commissioner Jaranwala, and other people participated in the event.
