Completion of maintenance work at Jamila Pumping Station ordered

Mayor and Chairman Karachi Water Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) Barrister Murtaza Wahab has instructed the water corporation authorities to expedite maintenance work at the Jamila Pumping Station’s rising main.

The mayor, accompanied by KWSC Chief Operating Officer Engineer Salahuddin Ahmed, visited the Jamila Pumping Station rising main line passing through the Lyari River on Thursday night.

During the visit, the water corporation officials and employees were lauded for their tireless efforts to restore the line. Wahab and KWSC officials were joined by the mayor's political affairs spokesperson, Karamullah Waqasi, and Chief Engineer Sewerage Aftab Alam Chandio.
