A general store owner was gunned down in a neighbourhood of Orangi Town on Monday. The Iqbal Market police said the victim was riding home on his bicycle after closing his shop when an unidentified assailant shot him in the back of the head.
The deceased was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was identified as Asif, 32. Police said the victim’s mobile phone was found on his person, adding that it would be premature to speculate on the motive behind the murder.
