PPP to support govt’s decisions favouring country: Khursheed Shah
Shah says effective and lasting decisions have to be taken to improve the economy, so that the country can stand on its own feet
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior leader Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah on Sunday said the PPP will support all government decisions taken in favour of the state, adding that the Parliament should complete its term, otherwise the state will suffer.
“The decisions on the appointment of governors will be made after the election of the Senate and these steps will also be completed amicably,” he said in a statement.
Shah said that effective and lasting decisions have to be taken to improve the economy, so that the country can stand on its own feet.
He said that the doors of negotiations are always open for the PTI, adding that according to political and moral values, “we had earlier invited PTI to form the government and after their refusal, we went to the second option.”
“Maulana Fazlur Rehman has our support in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the Senate election. He is a seasoned politician and will do his politics in a better way,” Shah added.
