LAHORE: On the orders of Punjab Ombudsman Major Azam Suleman Khan (R), a total of 43 kanals of government land worth more than Rs43 million was recovered.

Various complainants from across the province filed complaints in the office of Ombudsman Punjab regarding illegal farming on government land and encroachment on government land and requested that government land be handed over from these encroaching mafias. In this context, the Ombudsman Punjab Major Azam Suleman Khan (R) ordered various Assistant Commissioners, Chief Officer Municipal Committee of the province to recover the above-mentioned area according to the rules of the provincial govt. In this regard, a total of 43 kanals of government land was acquired, the market value of which is more than Rs43 million.
