LAHORE
Those who maltreated women at Tehrik-i-Insaf rally should be arrested immediately and punished whether they belonged to PML-N or PTI, otherwise, women belonging to all spheres of life, including from PML-Q, would start protest from the next week.
This was stated by PML-Q Women Wing Lahore organiser and former MPA Amna Ulfat and other leaders while addressing a press conference at Muslim League House here on Tuesday.
Zeba Hassan, Tamkeen Aftab, Sumera Nawaz, Mussarat Akhtar and other women leaders were also present.
They said that all parties claimed of protecting women's rights but none except PML did anything for the rights of women.
They said Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi gave respectable status and rights to the women and ensured increased women representation in every sector.
The PML women leaders said women made the nation but during the tenure of N-League women were being maltreated and their rights were being usurped.
