LHC judge retires

LAHORE
Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan of Lahore High Court on Tuesday retired from his office after attaining the age of superannuation, 62 years in case of LHC judge.
A formal send-off was held in honour of the outgoing judge in which Chief Justice Ijazul Ahsan and other judges participated. The chief justice presented a souvenir and bouquet to the outgoing judge.
Officers of the court were also present. Muhammad Khalid Mehmood was appointed LHC judge on February 19, 2010. With his retirement, the number of LHC judges dropped to 48 against the constitutional strength of 60.
