ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party has taken a strong exception to PMLN’s criticism over the former’s stance on the issue of appointment of IRSA chairman. Secretary Information PPP Shazia Marri asked how the wrong example of an illegal appointment could be justified.
“It was written in the IRSA act that provinces should be consulted for the appointment and even if it was not written, then allies should be consulted,” said Marri in response to PMLN leader Rana Sanaullah. Sana had said in Geo News programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath, “It seems that PPP’s attitude will remain the same which they have adopted in case of chairman IRSA’s appointment.”
