MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Mardan chapter) has terminated the basic membership of more than 15 office-bearers and members for violating the party discipline during the general elections of February 8, 2024.
An inquiry committee, headed by Purdil Khan, was constituted to identify those who had violated the party discipline in the general elections.The 15-member committee, after a transparent investigation, found that the office-bearers had violated the party policy and actively campaigned against the candidate nominated by the party, said a PTI leader.
On the recommendations of the inquiry committee, he said, the basic membership of the party office-bearers and members has been terminated with immediate effect. The office-bearers whose membership was terminated include; Nadeem Shah, president insaf Lawyer Forum (ILF), Sadat Khan, Muhammed Kamal, Iqbal Khan, Israr Ahmad Shahkar, Mian Farman, Waheed Gul, Musa Khan, Mian Mubarak Shah, Mian Bawar Khan, Bilal Yousafzai, Nizam Mashal, Zeeshan Khan, Shahid Ali Zada and Imtiaz Khan.
