Bank hours adjusted for Ramazan

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan released the banking hours for the holy month of Ramazan on Monday.
Ramazan starts on Tuesday, March 12. The SBP, all banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance banks will have office hours from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with a prayer break from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Office hours on Fridays are 08.30 am to 1:00 pm, nonstop. The public dealing business hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, there will be no breaks in between; on Friday, the public dealing business hours are from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, no breaks in between.
