Poetry book launched

LAHORE: Studio 426 in collaboration with Coopera Art Gallery, the oldest professional Gallery of the country, organised the 5th Adabi Baithak and launching of poetry book “Chan Chan Karti Chhaon” by Iram Asim at the Coopera Art Gallery.

Dr Ajaz Anwar was the chief guest, whereas Dr Amjad Tufail, Dr Rafia Tahir, Yasmeen Bukhari, Dr Sohail Hashmi, Dr Amna Tarar, Shella Farooq, Ayesha Qamar and Prof Mahmona Akhtar were the guest speakers. The prominent personalities like Muhammad Javed, Prof Dr Rahat Naveed Masud, Jawed Iqbal, Ghulam Mustafa, Prof Dr Sumera Jawad, Prof Salma Hassan, Asim Raza and Prof Sana Ullah Hallaj were present on the occasion.

Comparing was done by Asim Amjad. This programmer was unique as it was blended with literary and music. A mesmerising performance by Sohail Amjad Hashmi, a singer and speaker, enriched the event and pleased the audience.

The chief guest while launching the poetry book praised the contribution of Iram Asim.

While guest speakers addressed at length and highlighted the creative thoughts of the poet. Poet Iram Asim spoke and thanked the speakers

and other guests for encouraging her with their presence and praiseworthy words.

A large number of people from all walks of life and students from different universities were present there. In the end, comparer Asim Amjad also thanked all the speakers and guests and said that they were a great source of inspiration

for Iram Asim.
