LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly considering former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson for the role of Pakistan men’s head coach.
Sources revealed that PCB officials have expressed their interest in appointing Watson to the coaching position, with the final decision resting in the hands of PCB Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
The prospect of Shane Watson taking on the role of head coach has gained traction, and if the appointment materialises, Watson could potentially guide the team during the upcoming home series against New Zealand scheduled for April. The head coach position became vacant following the conclusion of former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez’s contract.
