Abacus wins five awards
KARACHI: Abacus, a professional services firm, said on Tuesday it had won five awards for best practices in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) from the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB).
The awards, which cover all categories of the GDEIB, recognize Abacus as one of the top 20 most inclusive companies in Pakistan, the company said in a statement. Abacus chairman Asad Ali Khan said the awards reflected the company's commitment to creating a culture where everyone felt valued and included.
The GDEIB awards are based on an assessment by an international panel of judges, led by Zahid Mubarik, CEO of HR Metrics and President of SHRM Forum Pakistan, a human resources organization.
The awards cover five areas of DEI: vision, strategy and business impact; leadership and accountability; recruitment, work-life integration, flexibility and benefits; and DEI learning and development.
