Five held, 11 unfair means cases registered in Matric exam

LAHORE: The paper of English compulsory subject was held in all the nine education boards across Punjab in connection with the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (Matric) First Annual Examination 2024 on Monday.
Around 11 cases were registered against the candidates for using unfair means while another five candidates were caught impersonating in the exams. Lahore Board Chairman Dr Ansar Azhar visited the examination centre of ND Islamia High School, Ichhra, where a candidate was taking the exam in place of another and was caught red-handed. He was handed over to the police. Around 4,088 examination centres have been set up across Punjab.
