One of the reasons behind Balochistan’s, and much of Pakistan’s, high rate of traffic accidents is the large number of unlicensed drivers. Drivers who are not properly trained or too young to be on the roads are a danger to themselves and others.
Sadly, it seems the authorities are having a hard time enforcing even this most basic of regulations. This issue needs to be addressed by the traffic authorities. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure that all motorists are licensed.
