LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) was petitioned on Thursday to get the Aurat March stopped.
Petitioner’s lawyer Rana Sikandar said in the petition the cards and banners of the Aurat March are not acceptable in the Islamic society as, he alleged, Aurat March caused law and order situation.
The petition said, “Rights have been given to women in the constitution and work is being done for the welfare of women therefore it is requested the court to order the state to stop the immoral publicity in connection with the women’s march.”
