About a week ago, while walking from Clifton, Karachi towards Cantt Station via the sidewalk on Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road, I found the inner sole of my right foot started bleeding. I sat down on the side of the footpath and was astonished to find that a small but sharp piece of broken glass had injured my foot badly.
The purpose of narrating this incident is none other than to remind the mayor and the municipal authorities to clean up the footpaths of Karachi, particularly those in Clifton, so that people can actually use them safely.
