TAKHTBHAI: Personnel of Shergarh Police Station arrested two members of a highway robbery gang and recovered cash amounting to Rs105,000 and two stolen motorcycles from the gangsters.
The police said some culprits robbed cash and motorcycles at gunpoint in several areas in recent days. Later, SP Saddar Division Khalid Khan, taking notice of the incidents, formed a team to probe the incidents.
Under the supervision of DSP Gul Wali Khan and SHO Latif Khan, the team, while using traditional intelligence gathering and modern tools, managed to apprehend the alleged culprits, identified as Umair and Muhammad Sabir. During the police interrogation, the arrestees confessed to their crime, and the stolen cash amounting to Rs. 105,000 and 02 motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
