NOWSHERA: Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Chairman of Mian Rashid Shaheed Foundation, commended the efforts of female students at the Vocational Training Center in Pabbi on Saturday during a ceremony for the distribution of certificates.
Joined by Tabassum Shams Katozai and the Foundation’s Managing Director Mian Muhammad Zubair, the event recognised the accomplishments of women who completed vocational courses.
Hussain lauded the students’ handcrafted products and underscored the critical role of women’s economic empowerment.
Highlighting the Foundation’s 11-year journey, he emphasised their commitment to service despite resource constraints and the absence of government aid.
Drawing from Bangladesh’s example, Hussain urged the government and other entities to establish similar vocational centers. He, called for supporting women’s economic empowerment projects.
