Motorbikes distributed among sports officers
LAHORE:As many as 30 motorbikes were distributed among sports officers of Directorate General Sports of Punjab and Lahore division for the promotion of sports culture at a ceremony organised at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Asif Tufail said that it is our responsibility to provide all kinds of facilities to sports officers for the true development of sports in the province. “Overall, 150 motorbikes are being distributed among all the tehsil sports officers of the province so that they can perform their sports promotion duties comfortably,” he added. The motorbikes were also given to Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum, Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, PDD and other sections for the better execution of their sports affairs. The other recipients of motorbikes include DD Attaur Rehman, Tariq, DSO Lahore Tanveer Abbas, ADs Wasim Asghar, Mubasher, Farhat Ehsan, Administrator National Hockey Stadium Abdul Qayyum, Administrator Punjab Tennis Stadium Ghulam Mohiuddin, Administrator Punjab Stadium Faisal Hayat, PA to DG Sports Nadeem, TSO Nasir, Sharif, Hannan, M Shafiq, Sajid Hussain, Naveed and Ashfaq.
