Parents, students, members of civil society, local elders, and educationists attended the event. Known educationist Dr Waqar Ahmed attended the occasion as the chief guest.

The speakers highlighted that the education department in Khyber had planned to enroll 64,000 out-of-school children during this year’s annual enrollment campaign, operating under the banner of “Thaleem Da Tolo Da Para” (Education for All).

They pledged to make every possible effort to ensure that no school-going child is left out during the campaign. Moreover, they stressed the importance of providing better facilities in government schools to create a conducive learning environment for students.

As part of these efforts, the education department also organised awareness walks in the three tehsils of Bara, Landikotal, and Jamrud to disseminate the message about children’s enrollment.

They urged parents, civil society members, and youth to actively contribute to achieving the enrollment campaign’s objectives, as it would contribute to increasing the literacy rate in the district.

The school’s principal, Muhammad Usman, welcomed the guests and outlined the aims and objectives of the seminar. Dr Imtiaz Khan underscored the significance of various professional fields, emphasising the importance of setting clear goals and working diligently to achieve them. He described education as a beacon of hope in times of darkness and deprivation.

Dr Waqar Ahmed advised students to embark on a journey of self-discovery, identify their personal qualities, and set goals for the future from an early age. He stressed the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving these goals, encouraging students to pursue their chosen fields with passion and determination.
