DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The commissioner and regional police officer (RPO) of Dera division visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Trauma Centre at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) here to meet the policemen injured in the recent IED blast.
Commissioner Zafarul Islam Khattak and RPO Nasir Mehmood Satti, accompanied by SP Elite Force Arshad Mehmood, met with the personnel injured in the IED blast while on election duty in the Garha Aslam area of Kulachi tehsil.
The officials met constables Mushtaq and Jan Dost at the CMH, while ASI Iqbal Niazi, constables Inayatullah, Nauman, and Fazlur Rehman, injured in the attack on the polling station in Kot Attal Sharif, were visited at the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera.
They assessed the medical facilities provided to the policemen and issued instructions, while gathering information from the doctors to ensure the utilisation of all available resources for better treatment.
