Rangers find huge cache of weapons in Azizabad raid
Paramilitary force issues list of 60 suspects under their preventive detention

Rangers found a large quantity of weapons at a house in Azizabad in the wee hours of Tuesday after a political party’s activist, who was arrested earlier, disclosed their location.
A Rangers spokesperson said Mohammad Kashif alias David, a political party’s activist who was arrested earlier for his involvement in target killing cases, revealed during interrogation the location of where the weapons were hidden.
The paramilitary force conducted a raid at a house near Morr Park, Azizabad and found a huge cache of weapons.
They included Kalashnikovs, light machine guns, RPG-7s, rocket launchers, hundreds of bullets and explosive material. Rangers uniforms were also found there.
Suspects in custody
Rangers also issued a list of 60 suspects who were in the paramilitary force’s preventive custody.
The spokesperson said anti-terrorism courts had endorsed the 90-day preventive detention and their relatives could meet them after following the jail manual.
