ISLAMABAD: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s founder Imran Khan, challenged Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) notices in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Aleema Khan filed two separate pleas through her counsel Shiraz Ahmed Ranjha in the Islamabad High Court against FIA notices. She prayed the court to order the suspension of FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing and Anti- Terrorism Wing notices sent to her.
FIA had issued an inquiry notice to Aleema Khan for inciting violence and making a hate speech, directing her to appear at the cybercrime reporting center on February 3 to present her stance and clarify her statements. However, she did not comply the notice. In a separate FIA notice from the Anti-Terrorism Wing, Aleema Khan was summoned on February 11 on the Interior Ministry’s complaint.
