Naqvi inaugurates Nishtar-II Hospital

LAHORE : Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday inaugurated Nishtar-II Hospital, South City Hospital, Nawabpur Road, and Seetal Mari police station upgradation projects.

He also laid the foundation stone of Cadet College and Safe City projects in Multan. The CM inaugurated the South City Hospital DHQ Multan being delayed for the last 10 years. Mohsin Naqvi inspected the reception counter of the South City Hospital and reviewed token issuance process. He also inaugurated the paraplegic centre in the South City Hospital, inquired from the under treatment patients about the provision of treatment facilities and expressed affection with the children undergoing their physiotherapy treatment.

After the inauguration of South City Hospital, the CM laid the foundation stone of a Cadet College stretching on 919 canal acres of land. The Cadet College being constructed at the cost of Rs1.678 billion will be completed by December 2025.

The CM while talking to the media after the inauguration of Nishtar-II Hospital in Multan stated thanks to Allah Almighty that two hospitals have been inaugurated in Multan. The South City Hospital being postponed since 2017 has been made 100 percent operational. A new shape will be provided to the hospitals of south region, excellent facilities will be provided and the public will be provided a great relief; 250 new doctors have been inducted in the Multan region. Mohsin Naqvi stated that he would go back to his profession and if the task of PCB is assigned to him then he will undertake his new assignment. ‘It is better for me to stay away from politics. Mohsin Naqvi stated that it is not possible to progress without putting in hard work.

The foundation stone of the Cadet College Multan has been laid and Shujja Abad Flyover project will also be completed in one month. Mohsin Naqvi apprised that all essential projects for Multan will be completed within stipulated timeline.

Later, the CM inaugurated the new building of Model Police Station Seetal Mari and also made virtual inauguration of 36 police stations of Punjab. He laid the foundation stone of the Safe City project in the police office of South Punjab.

Mohsin Naqvi laid the foundation stone of the construction and repair work of Nawabpur road which will cost Rs503 million.

Lawyers meet CM

Office-bearers of the District Bar Associations of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and DG Khan met with Mohsin Naqvi.

The CM while talking with the lawyer community assured them of complete cooperation for their well-being. He reviewed security arrangements being taken for the general elections in a meeting held at the South Punjab Secretariat in Multan and directed to ensure making foolproof arrangements at every level for the general elections.
