People of Gujrat aware of those engaged in double dealing, says Salik
LALAMUSA: PMLQ leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain said Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain exhibited remarkable patience, serving as the unifying force that held the family together during various challenges.
Addressing a gathering during his visit to NA-63, he said the residents of Gujrat are well aware of those who genuinely support their interests and who engage in double-dealing. He added it is evident that those holding the Tehreek-e-Insaf banner do not wholeheartedly embrace its ideology; rather, they manipulate public sentiment for mere electoral gain. Fortunately, people have cognizance of deceptive tactics employed by such individuals, said Salik. He said there was an attempt to snatch party presidency from Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and merge Q league into PTI. “Those actions were tantamount to an assault on our identity, as such individuals sought to obliterate our distinctiveness,” said the PMLQ leader, adding, “if our party had succumbed to the pressure and merged with PTI, our unique identity would have been lost.”
