The FIR was registered at the Mobina Town police station, with SHO Abdus Sattar filing the complaint against four unknown suspects. The FIR, under sections 302/32/34, also includes Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

It stated, "Suddenly, the sound of gunfire was heard, prompting me and other police officers to rush outside. Across the road, at the Al Khair Milk Shop, four suspects on two motorcycles were seen firing. When we chased after them to apprehend the culprits, they started firing indiscriminately, causing panic and chaos among the public. The culprits managed to escape, spreading fear and terrorism in the area."

Despite initial reluctance from the shop owner's brother, Abdul Wahid, to file an FIR, the police proceeded to register a case on behalf of the state, initiating the legal process against the perpetrators.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday on Abul Hassan Ispahani Road, resulting in the tragic death of a milk shop owner and his cousin. Three others were wounded in the firing incident.
