LAHORE:Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan has said that the important antiquities related to the history of Punjab Police such as FIRs of most important incidents, policing equipment used by the officials in different era of time, weapons, uniforms, ranks etc. are of significant importance, which will be displayed in the best manner in the museum of the Central Police Office.
He said that the artefacts in the Police Museum are the guardians of the historical heritage of the Punjab Police which are being preserved and displayed in a better way so that various delegations, diplomats and personalities visiting to the Central Police Office can view them and learn about the history of Punjab Police. He expressed these views while inspecting the construction work of CPO Museum at the Central Police Office Thursday.
Sindh Police team visits CPO
Under-training DSPs of Sindh Police visited the Central Police Office and met with DIG Logistics & Procurement Athar Ismail Amjad. They were informed about the working and professional matters of the Logistics and Procurement Branch. DIG Logistics & Procurement.
Athar Ismail said that the procurement branch of Punjab Police procured all items, including police uniform, transport, furniture and stationery for the force and as per the directives of the Punjab government, all procurement processes are now being transferred online under the e-procurement system. Under-training DSPs were briefed about procurement procedures, formation of different committees and purchase process.
