Stray bullet kills minor girl in Orangi
In a tragic incident, a minor girl lost her life after a stray bullet hit her in the Orangi Town area on Sunday. The six-year-old girl, Aqsa, daughter of Khalid, died in Haryana Colony Sector 10 in Orangi Town.
After being hit by the stray bullet, she was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. Police and family said the deceased girl was having meal when a bullet hit her head causing a fatal injury. She died on her way to hospital.
After the completion of legal proceedings and post-mortem, police handed over the body to the family. The father informed the media that he was a taxi driver by profession and had four children, of whom the deceased girl was the second. He explained that the unfortunate incident occurred while they were sitting at their first-floor residence for meal. Police said a case has been registered and investigations are under way.
