JI activates women’s wing for election campaign
JI election cell is not only active on social media but all 3 candidates are holding corner meetings, meeting their voters daily
Islamabad:As other political parties are yet to start their election campaign, the local leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is following a proactive approach to election campaigns across the federal capital.
The JI election cell is not only active on social media but all three candidates are holding corner meetings and meeting their voters daily. “We started our election early because our party leadership awarded tickets for three National Assembly seats well before the announcement of the election schedule," Sajjad Abbasi, an active member of JI Islamabad said.
Now the JI leadership has activated its women's wing in all three constituencies. Ms. Nusrat Naheed has been appointed head of women for the election campaign. She also organized women workers conventions in sector G-11 and E-11 which fall in Mian Muhammad Aslam's constituency of NA-46. Mian Aslam also addressed both conventions expressing his thanks to women workers.
She said that JI has been raising the strongest voice rights of women calling for solutions to their problems Addressing party workers, she said that women workers would run organised, effective, and result-oriented campaigns in Islamabad holding meetings in different sectors daily.
