A staff officer of the Sindh Assembly Speaker lost his life, and two others were wounded in a road accident on Mai Kolachi Road within the limits of the Docks police station on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when the driver of a speeding SUV double-cabin lost control, colliding with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction after crossing the footpath. As a result, one person lost his life, and two others, including a staff member and a driver, sustained injuries. Rescue teams took the injured to a private hospital.
The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Haroon. Haroon, a staff officer of the Speaker Sindh Assembly Siraj Durrani, resided in the Hungorabad area of Lyari.
