Manager arrested as Food Authority seals factory producing oil from animal waste

Hyderabad: A team from the Sindh Food Authority (SFA) conducted a raid on an oil factory in Hosri, arresting the factory manager, Muhammad Ali Arain, and imposing a fine of Rs. 500,000 for producing unhygienic oil from animal waste.

Deputy Director of Sindh Food Authority Hyderabad Fida Hussain Khoso accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Ahsan Morai, discovered the production of unhygienic oil during the raid. The factory was promptly sealed, and legal action was taken against the manager.

Director General of Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain issued a warning to individuals engaged in producing unhygienic food items, urging them to refrain from such illegal activities. He emphasised that strict legal measures would be taken against those involved in such practices.
