KARACHI: Two people, including a policeman, were wounded after a speedy car hit them during snap checking in the Defence area on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident took place near the Qayyumabad area, where during snap checking police personnel attempted to stop a car; however, the driver sped it up and escaped after hitting a policeman, Bilal, 29, and a passerby. They were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Later, the police apprehended the driver, Farhan Nazir, and impounded the car.
