Balochistan police to implement PITB automation system
LAHORE: The Balochistan government approached the Punjab government to implement the Punjab IT Board’s office automation system in the province.
The Balochistan Police Department has acquired PITB's services for the implementation of e-Foas, following the success of the e-filing and office automation system developed by the Government Digital Services Wing.
The team under the supervision of DG Government Digital Services Wing Muhammad Waseem Bhatti implemented e-Foas in Central Police Office Quetta within a short span of time. From now on, the CPO Office Quetta will distribute all departmental matters digitally rather than on paper. In this regard, IG Balochistan Abdul Khaliq Sheikh praised the PITB team for implementing this system in the police department within the stipulated time.
While DG of Government Digital Services wing PITB stated that GDS Wing was not only performing its services for the improvement of the governance system in Punjab, but the Central Police Office of Balochistan was also equipped with a digital system.
IG praises Bahawalnagar police
IG Punjab met with Bahawalnagar police team in the series of Police Station diaries and reviewed the overall performance of Bahawalnagar Police in terms of crime prevention during the current year. He appreciated the Bahawalnagar police for successfully tracing the robbery, murder and other cases and directed the DSPs, SHOs of Bahawalnagar Police to ensure effective use of modern technology to protect the life and property of the citizens.
CCPO reviews security performance
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana Tuesday reviewed security performance of Iqbal Town and Sadr divisions at the CCPO office. Addressing a meeting, the CCPO ordered strict measures to combat drug trafficking, motorcycle theft and mobile snatching incidents.
5 children reunited with their parents
The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) Tuesday reunited five missing children with their parents in different areas of the province. They were found from Lahore, Hafizabad, Pakpattan, and Rahimyar Khan. The 3 to 7 years old boys and girls were reunited through the Emergency 15 helpline and their whereabouts were identified through missing calls.
