A mother’s courage

Roshan Bibi, one of the survivors of the Chilas bus attack that led to the deaths of at least nine people, was reportedly shot six times while shielding her children and husband. I write with a heavy heart and deep admiration for the incredible bravery exhibited by Roshan Bibi during the tragic attack. 

Her selfless act is a testament to the unwavering courage that resides within a mother’s heart. As we mourn the lives lost and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured, let us also take a moment to reflect on the indomitable spirit of Roshan Bibi. Her heroism shines as a beacon of light in the darkness of this tragedy, inspiring us to cherish the bonds we hold dear and to stand resilient against the forces that seek to instill fear.
