Khursheed assails PMLN over its claims
SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday criticised the PMLN for claiming to be establishment’s favorite party.
“Establishment is with us. Why do they (PMLN) speak against the PTI chairman for saying the same thing?” he added.
He said that Mian Sahib had given a slogan of “respect the vote” in 2014. “Are you (PMLN supporters) giving it?. Your people are saying that we are the people of the establishment and the establishment is with us,” he added.
He said the establishment belongs to everyone and the institutions belong to the country. Speaking to the media outside the accountability court in Sukkur, Mr Shah said that those who talked about giving the country a motorway did not build a motorway in Sindh.
He further said that electricity, gas and other resources are not being given to Sindh. He said that Bilawal is a candidate for the prime minister’s post, adding that it is necessary to understand what Zardari told, however “our decision is taken by the CEC of the party.”
He said that MQM remained in power and now it is going for votes, so it will do some drama. “Karachi is ours and we belong to Karachi. Come give economic programme and work,” Shah advised the MQM.
