HBL awarded for remittances

KARACHI: HBL has been awarded the "Leading Remittance Mobilizing Bank of Pakistan" by the Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI), a statement said on Monday

The bank received the award for its outstanding performance in facilitating over $2 billion in remittances to Pakistan in the fiscal year 2023. The award was presented at the 3rd Pakistan Remittance Summit, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Dec 10.

Abrar Ahmed Mir, Chief Innovation & Financial Inclusion Officer of HBL, said the bank was honored to receive the recognition and thanked the PRI and the SBP for their support.
