Man commits suicide

LAHORE: A 25-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in the Shafiqabad area over failure to get drugs. The incident was reported in Jammu Wala Khooh area of Shafiqabad where Sohail reportedly was frustrated because he could not get drugs. He locked himself in a room and claimed his life.

Body found: Body of an unidentified person was recovered from a canal near Jallo Bridge. A passerby spotted the body floating in the canal and alerted Rescue and police. A rescue team reached the spot on information, fished out the body and removed to morgue. —Correspondent
