LAHORE: Safe City officials reunited a mentally disabled elderly woman, Bilqis, with her son here on Monday. Arsalan had called at the emergency number 15 to report his mother's disappearance.
Simultaneously, a call was received from Walton Road Peer Colony to find an elderly woman. The Safe City Lost and Found Centre cross-referenced the information from both calls, leading to the realization that it was the same woman.
Found dead
A 23-year-old woman was found dead from a house under suspicious circumstances in the Sundar area. A police team reached the spot on information and removed her body to morgue. Her family alleged that she was strangled.
